What happened
PSS Club is committed to organize this camp every September in memory of Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra, a human rights defender from Amritsar who was abducted in September 1995 and never came home.
Who can donate is decided by Canadian Blood Services, not by the club. Eligibility depends on your health, travel and medical history. Book your appointment at blood.ca or call 1-888-2-DONATE.
Please bring government-issued photo ID or your donor card, eat a proper meal and drink plenty of water beforehand, and allow about an hour in total. Club volunteers will be at the door and refreshments are on us.

Why the camp carries his name
Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra
A bank official from Amritsar who became one of Punjab’s most determined human rights defenders. He gathered and made public the records of thousands of people who had been picked up, never charged and never seen again.
He was abducted in September 1995 and never came home. The club holds this camp in his memory — a day spent helping to save lives, in the name of a man who gave his own trying to protect them.
